What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a conscious meditation that was born from paying attention to the little things, intentionally and without judgment.
It is the ability to see things as they really are without being clouded by prejudice and negative feelings.
You have to try to leave in the present, in the “here and now”, finding the capacity to capture all the moments that life offers us.
While traveling, we observe with more concern what surrounds us. While, in our everyday life we tend to disregard them.
This is because journeys make us see everything from a different light and perspective.
It is while traveling that we learn new ways of communicating and different cultures, new costums and traditions.
This brings us to wide open-mindedness. We realize who we are, what we want in our lives and we learn to deal with hard situations.
Therefore, we start becoming more adaptable.
Each journey is different: some are beautiful and exciting, while others leave us bitter memories. Nevertheless, every journey gives us awareness.
When we start facing the problems we have, we understand what we do not like about ourselves. This is when changes begin to occur.
