Ham is the best known Spanish product in the world and certainly it is what the Spaniards are most proud of. In fact, The Jamón ibérico, is a type of ham from the Iberian pig, very appreciated in Spain and in the Portuguese cuisine. Therefore it is considered a high-quality product.
“Patatas bravas” is one of the most known typical dishes in Spain. It is an appetizer tasted mainly during happy hours. Furthermore it is cooked by first boiling and then frying the potatoes. A spicy sauce called ‘Brava’ accompanies it.
The Spanish tortilla, known as “tortilla de patatas” is an egg and potatoes omelette. It is another of the classic Spanish dishes made with eggs, potatoes and onions.
In the Spanish cuisine, the “Gazpacho” is a cold soup made of raw vegetables.It comes from Andalucia and it is very popular in southern Spain. It is served cold, therefore it is more ideal to have during summer.
The primary ingredients of the Andalusian tradition are peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and herbs.
The fabana is a typical dish of Asturian cuisine.

The Empanada Gallega, a typical dish of Galicia. A puff pastry filled with meat, fish or vegetables. The strong point of the Empanada is the delicious sauce of onions cooked slowly. The sauce gives the dish a particular flavour. This dish is prepared especially for the festivities.
Paella is a typical dish of Valencian cuisine and made of rice, saffron, olive oil, vegetables, meat or seafood and the name originates from the ‘pan’ where they cook it. Paella is one of the most famous dishes of Spain, as well as one of the most popular dishes in the world.
The Catalan cream, a typical dessert of Catalonia, known and appreciated worldwide for its deliciousness. Served cold and looks like a creamy base with lemon zest and cinnamon, covered with a crispy crust of caramelized sugar.
CHURROS WITH CHOCOLATE
The churros are typical spanish elongated fried sweets and are made with a compound of water, butter, sugar and a pinch of salt and are fried or baked, and subsequently sprinkled with icing sugar. Churros are accompanied by a cup of hot chocolate.
