I am Freediving instructor and Yoga teacher living in Bali. I have a degree in Marine Biology and also run spear fishing courses.
I have always loved the ocean and exploring underwater environments. I am a keen photographer, film-maker and writer. I have always been interested in the extent of human potential and depth of personal discovery available through various techniques and tools.
Freediving is one of the most defining things that ever happened to me, giving a deep sense of purpose and connection. In my work with students I hope to give the same to them. To me it is about reconnecting with nature and with the self. A lack of such connection is at the root of humanity’s earthly problems.
Leading people back into the sea is my calling and opportunity to be part of nurturing a shared passion in others. I enjoy meeting and bonding with new people who put their trust in me. I have supported many people through physical and emotional challenges. I like to think I get the best results possible from every student.
I am very experienced and safe with how I teach and train. Having dived with many schools and individuals, I have seen a variety of approaches. Being very interested in the progression and development of the sport, I am always learning and refining my knowledge.
